I am so grateful to have gotten this newborn session done before all this craziness happened. I met up with Maria and her adorable family in the east end of Ottawa at the end of February and captured their sweet family of three. Capturing this precious and fleeting time for families is such a privilege and it makes me miss those crazy first few days and weeks after bringing a newborn home (except the sleep deprivation part).

Lifestyle newborn photography is becoming such a popular way to capture this time. It is ideal because you don’t have to leave your home which can be a stressful activity right after having a baby. I come to you and capture your family in the comfort of your own home. There’s little to no posing of baby which is less stressful for everyone involved and we go with the flow of how everyone is feeling. If you’re expecting a baby and want newborn photos this is definitely a session you should consider 🙂
